Ethiopia: Any contribution made by current rulers?

Ryszard Kapuscinski the Polish author and journalist has died at the age of 74. In his book Cesarz(The Emperor) he described the last days of Negus Haile Selassi. And with it the des-functioning of the feudal system that owned Ethiopia in these times.
